“ Hubs and I stopped for personal pan pizza for lunch and chose to take & bake two pizzas for home. Service was excellent and friendly. We enjoyed the atmosphere and left happy. The take and bake pizzas were just as tasty at home as they were at the restaurant. I will ALWAYS order this take and bake pizza for home! So good! ”
“ Very nice and cozy spot. Love tge fish tank. Looking at the fishes and sipping my margaritas were very relaxing. Margaritas were delicious! Food was ok. We had chicken tender dinner and baguette for appetizers. Then I had a cheesy potato soup. That was the best thing I had besides the margarita. Fries were good. We had the Cappo's combo pizza and the Italian beef pizza. I liked the Italian pizza better. I believe our server name is Michelle. She was delightful and very attentive. That was my first time there and definitely not my last. I recommend anyone to give them a visit! ”
“ We live in portage and were looking for a good pizza place. My hubby is not a huge fan of Aurelio's (not sure why as I think it's a good pizza place) but he was very pleased with Cappo's pizza. The cappo's combo was delicious! (Side note: Italian beef was mediocre so I would not recommend that.) P.S. From website: Homemade Crust, Homemade Sauce and Our Special Blended Cheese! “ Update... As of today, Cappo's made a notation on their ordering system and website to notate that only the Mozzarella is vegan. Thank you!! Got one today and most of it is gone because it wound up in my stomach before I had the chance to take a picture. Absolutely perfect! Thank you Cappo's. I adjusted to 4 instead of 3 stars. It would be 5 had they offered to remake the other pizza again for me at no cost. Can't wait to get this pizza again next Friday. ”
“ Every pizza I order from Cappo's, no matter if it's classic sausage, vegetarian, or cheese (extra cheese, or course), it's identical to the LAST time I ordered one. It's the consistency for me. With Cappo's being a local favorite, it's nice to have the freshness that's expected along with the consistent flavors usually reserved for pizza chains. I usually order to go, so I cannot include Service or Ambiance in my review, but the cut of the pizza is pretty perfect, too, especially for those days when you want people visiting from out of town to know what a tavern style Midwest pizza can truly be. My faves: Sausage Cheese Pizza, Cappo's Famous Fried Chicken, Cheese Pizza ”
